Individual Teletherapy is provided to clients who desire to engage in the process of individual therapy but are unable to attend therapy sessions on a fixed schedule and at our office location. At Daniel's Place, we provide teletherapy utilizing a HIPAA secure video conferencing interface in order to protect the privacy and confidentiality of our clients.

Daniel's Place is built on the foundational belief that we all deserve to experience a safe and caring environment in which to express ourselves and heal, and we believe that those of you who are unable to meet me on location are no exception!

Individual Teletherapy is ideal for clients who are experiencing mild to moderate psychosocial difficulties and are unable to visit our East Meadow, New York location for services.

COVID-19 UPDATE: Due to the pandemic, Daniel’s Place offers all available psychotherapy services via telehealth, in addition to in office services, in order to increase access to mental health services while maintaining our clients’ physical safety.

Individual Teletherapy IS NOT appropriate for those who are experiencing severe psychosocial difficulties and/or disturbances, including, but not limited to: chronic suicidal or homicidal thoughts and severe mood disorders and anxiety disorders. This is because those with more severe symptoms benefit most from regularly scheduled sessions on location with a trusted therapist in order maintain personal safety and to achieve optimal therapeutic results.

If you are unsure if teletherapy is right for you, please feel free to ask about it during your free consultation!
